To Florida and Back Again

I don't seem to be attracting visitors (by mental telepathy), so pretty soon I'm going to have to tell people about this blog. What will happen then is anybody's guess. I'll probably be the hottest thing on the internet. So, since my last entry I've been to Florida and back where I played on the beach and attended a National Funeral Director's Convention. (*Be sure to ask me why, if you're out there.) I saw my daughter off to a new job in Philadelphia, bought and passed out Halloween candy (and ate some), decided what to make/bring for Thanksgiving Day feasting and started Christmas shopping.
My Halloween "Jack 'O Lantern" luminaries - I lined the driveway with them -each one was different. You can just see the candle in the mouth of the one above

Today was PARTY DAY

I think the 7 ladies who came to test-taste the new
Kellogg "Live Bright Brain Health Bar"
were all pleasantly surprised. They taste too good to be healthy! Really chewy and chocolaty. I'm not sure we felt any smarter after eating them, but satisfied with that warm fuzzy feeling. Can you say "nap time?" LOL

I promised no names, but not no photos!

Kellogg's House Party

Guess who's been selected to host a House Party? Cool beans! Kellogg's is shipping me a FREE Live Bright party kit and I've invited several friends and family to lunch and munch on Kellogg's new brain food snack bar. I'll keep you posted, but meanwhile check out the House Party link for many more interesting opportunities.

What I Did During My Labor Day Holiday

Yup, that's me, in the back seat! It's called motorized parachuting and it's pretty darn thrilling. If you want to know more, email me. (Oh yeah, my father-in-law has his camera date set on a European calendar!)

Goodbye Summer, Hello Blog-time

It never ceases to amaze me how much time I spend on the computer. I even eschew sleep for internet-time. Obviously, I'm a full blown addict and I find it as hypnotic as any drug could possibly be, although it's probably more akin to gambling. Is it harmless? If I am honest, I will have to confess it is not. My family has complained from time to time, my health is not as good as it could be.

Does this blog make me a pusher??

I sure hope not. I need to add more quality content in order to feel it offers something more than just mindless drivel. I will work on that.

Not as easy as it looks

Okay, I'll admit it. My goal was to post every day. Maybe even several times a day. After all, the more content, the more interest, the more likely to attract readers, advertisers, etc.

It's not that I don't have things to say. (It's never that I'm at a loss for words.) Rather, I think I'm feeling a little self-conscious, talking to myself. I haven't actually TOLD anybody about this blog yet, it's true, but somehow I just wish someone would stumble upon it and give me a brief "atta-girl." Or a long, glowing, gushing, "What a great title, idea, face..." I'm not picky about compliments.

And so I'll add more content, more laughs, tears, Olympic moments, in hopes that this will get more comfortable for "all" of us. Don't burst my bubble - I know what lurks out there!

I Blog, Therefore I Am

Today is the first day of the rest of your blogging life. Face it, you're a nobody without a blog. An online loser. Sad but true.
"But I don't need a blog. What the heck would I say? And why would anybody want read it anyway?"
Too bad. Doesn't matter. You need one, plain and simple. Get over it. I did, and now I'm finally a Somebody. What a relief.

This will become THE place where we can share all my words of wisdom, favorite sites, and other blogs (especially freebie forums). I postponed the inevitable as long as possible and now my job is to convince you that blogging for fun and profit really is in your best interest.

Would I lie?
